About me

I'm Aidan Swank, an artist and educator from Carlisle, PA. In 2024, I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's in Art and a certification in Graphic Design. Since then, I have worked as a graphic designer, a substitute art teacher at SMSD, a creative activities director for both adults and children, and now I am working to make art my full time career!

Currently, I am in the second year of tending to my dye garden, and in fall, turning the harvest into an all-natural watercolor paints. My goal is to document this unique process educate others about fun and sustainable art practices, and eventually sell tins of my natural watercolors!

I'm also in the process of putting together a children's art program for Summer 2026 in Boiling Springs, then hopefully continuing as an after school program in the coming year.
